Outreach > WHALEWHALEPeconic Bay Medical Center participates in the national WHALE (We have A Little Emergency) child identification and information program. The WHALE program’s goal is to ensure that a child traveling in a safety seat who may be in a collision receives appropriate medical care and guardian contact. A sticker providing room for information, such as the child’s name and medical history, is affixed to the back of the safety seat. Smaller labels on the sides of the seat and on the vehicle’s side windows alert rescue personnel to the child’s data.
