Your Hospital Bill Your hospital bill will include applicable charges for rooms, meals, X-rays, medical supplies, lab tests, and medications prescribed by your physician among other things.
Physician fees are not listed in your hospital bill. Please note, your personal physician anesthesiologist, Emergency Department physician, radiologist and consulting physician will submit separate billing statements.
You may pay the balance of your hospital bill not covered by your insurance with cash, a personal check, MasterCard, Visa, or American Express credit cards.
In special cases, payment plans may be arranged with your patient billing representative. If you have been admitted to the Hospital, but have no insurance, you may qualify for medical financial assistance through New York State. To find out if you qualify, please call our Medicaid Representative at Ext. 6434.
Shortly after you have returned home, you will periodically receive computer-generated invoices. Should you have any questions regarding your insurance company's payment toward your hospital stay, please contact your insurance company.
All other billing questions can be addressed by your designated Hospital Patient Financial Services Representative whose name and phone number are listed on your bill.
