PBMC Health Hosts Dedication of The Gertrude & Louis Feil Campus for Ambulatory Care: Receives Largest Philanthropic Donation to Date

Peconic Bay Medical Health System received its largest philanthropic gift to date from the Louis Feil Charitable Lead Annuity Trust. In appreciation of the $5 million donation and in recognition of the Feil family's extraordinary support, PBMC announced that it will name its new Ambulatory Campus in Manorville "The Gertrude and Louis Feil Campus for Ambulatory Care" during a recent dedication held at Peconic Bay Medical Center.  A live newsfeed of the Manorville sign unveiling with its new name took place as part of the dedication.

The development of the campus is recognition of the growing community population on Long Island's East End, the need under Federal healthcare reform to develop medical services beyond hospital care, and Peconic Bay Medical Center's focus on wellness and preventative healthcare.  The new four-building medical campus will be the only comprehensive healthcare provider within the Manorville community.  It will include over 25,000 square feet of medical and ambulatory care offices, designed as a state-of-the-art medical complex with a pharmacy and several retail stores.

The first building will be completed in the Spring and will be home to urgent care/primary care, pediatrics, urology, digestive disorders, general surgery, health education and orthopedics.   "Peconic Bay Medical Center is excited to create this world-class medical campus equipped with the most advanced, state-of-the-art medical technology and staffed by professionals committed to excellence and compassionate care within a healing environment," explained Andrew Mitchell, President and CEO of Peconic Bay Medical Center and Peconic Bay Medical Center.  "Building upon our rich history, this new addition to Peconic Bay Medical Center will ensure we can further support our commitment to East End communities by providing exceptional and efficient healthcare, stimulating the local economy by creating jobs  and successfully support our residents by providing the highest quality healthcare available," he continued.
